BUTTERMILK PIE

This is one of the yummiest pies you’ll ever eat.  It is delicious warm and cold!  You might want to leave out the fact that it is called a buttermilk pie since most people think they don’t like buttermilk.  In fact, because of the buttermilk, this pie has a wonderful tartness that balances out the sweetness.  This is a Southern classic and I know you will enjoy it!

Ingredients:
3 eggs
¾ cup sugar
2 T. flour
1 stick butter, melted
1 cup buttermilk
1 t. vanilla
1 unbaked 9 inch pie crust

Instructions:
*Whisk together eggs and sugar.
*Add flour and butter.  Mix well.
*Add Buttermilk and vanilla
*Pour into the pie shell.
*Bake at 350 degrees for 45 to 50 minutes until set and golden.
