CRANBERRY RELISH

3 large apples
3 large oranges
Zest of one orange
2 bags of cranberries
1 cup sugar

*Instructions:
In a food processor, grind all fruit a little bit at a time.  Make sure not to liquify (just grind).   Stir in sugar.  Refrigerate in a glass bowl overnight to allow fruit and sugar to blend well.  At first the relish will be pinkish in color but the color will change to a beautiful dark red after sitting overnight.  Taste mixture and add more sugar if it is too sour.  However, the mixture should be sweet and a bit tart.  Mixture may be kept in the refrigerator for 3 to 5 days.   This is a delicious accent for turkey at Thanksgiving and Christmas or even for pork or chicken.

Note:
You may adjust the amount of apples and oranges you put in the recipe based on their sizes.
