Here is a fun recipe to make for your family. They will love the pecan and chocolate combination in these “two-bite” treats! I hope you enjoy making these very soon!
Ingredients:
36 (more or less), mini-tart pie shells thawed
1 stick butter
Two, 1-ounce squares of unsweetened baking chocolate
2/3 cup evaporated milk
2 extra large eggs
2 t. vanilla
1 and ¼ cup sugar
3 T. cocoa
3 T. flour
½ t. kosher salt
1 and ½ cup finely chopped pecans
Instructions:
*Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
*Melt butter and chocolate over low heat in a saucepan. Whisk constantly and be careful not to scorch or to let it boil.
*Remove from heat when melted and whisk in evaporated milk.
*Whisk in eggs.
*Stir in vanilla, sugar, cocoa, flour and salt until well combined.
*Stir in pecans.
*Carefully spoon mixture into mini-tart shells. You may want to pour batter into a measuring cup with a spout to make pouring the mixture into the shells a bit easier.
*Bake tarts at 350 degrees for 45 minutes or until set. Remove and let cool.
*Tarts may be frozen.
